Looking back, there are a few lessons I wish I’d learned earlier in life. If you want to dominate in 2025, take these to heart:
1. Raise your standards higher than you think you should. Don’t settle for “good enough.” Set expectations for yourself and your team that feel slightly uncomfortable—and then surpass them.
2. Date your person. Your business doesn’t matter if your personal relationships are falling apart. Be intentional with your time, energy, and love for the ones who matter most.
3. Choose optimism. The way you see the world shapes your results. Even in the face of challenges, choose to believe things will work out. That mindset wins battles.
4. Never be outworked. Talent is great, but effort? Effort separates the good from the great. Commit to out-hustling everyone around you.
5. Play to win, not just to not lose. Stop holding back, stop playing it safe, and stop worrying about what others think. Get on offense and go after what you want with everything you’ve got.
This is your wake-up call. The future doesn’t wait for anyone—so start crushing it today. Let’s go!
